Blackwater Gave Fans A Chance To Play Basketball With Their Idols

Blackwater, a leading local brand that offers fragrances as well as hairstyling, facial care, and bodycare products, recently held a culminating event for their “Play With Your Idols” initiative. The exciting basketball game was held last October 13 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Shaw Boulevard, Pasig.

Blackwater ambassadors Ronnie Alonte and Rayver Cruz were the stars of the event, sharing the spotlight with six professional basketball players from the Blackwater Elite team of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

It was hosted by PBA courtside reporter Rizza Diaz, and the Letran Cheering Squad gave the audience energetic intermission numbers all throughout the event.

“Play With Your Idols” had two highlights: the 3×3 game and the Main Event.

3×3 Game

Team Manila was hailed 3X3 Champion, with its Team Captain Midzmar Surain and his members Hafizkhan Hasan, Adzhar Udjan, and Yashier Tan. They won P9000 cash and special Blackwater prizes.

The Balandra Squad that consisted of Ric Airand Vicente (Captain), Lloyd Siegfred R. Salud, Ryan Christian Guanco, and Ivan Paul Jaralve got the runner-up place and also received a consolation prize from Blackwater.

Main Event

The exhibition game was divided into Team Ronnie and Team Rayver. Ronnie and Rayver were joined by six Blackwater Elite players and 16 fans who registered via social media.

Black Team, led by Blackwater endorser and team captain Ronnie Alonte, won the exhibit game with a 2-point lead from the final score of 89-87.

The Raffle

The audience also received special prizes from Blackwater along with the participating Blackwater Elite players’ jersey tops.

Major raffle winners received a poster and photo-op with Ronnie and Rayver.

Present during the event were Blackwater and Ever Bilena’s Dioceldo Sy and his family, Denice Sy-Munez, Jacob Munez, Demie Grace Sy, and Dianne Grace Sy. Ronnie’s solid fan base R2 Warriors Official, R2 Nation, Loinie Official, and his girlfriend and Ever Bilena endorser Loisa Andalio were also there to show support.
